Gridding and contouring are applicable to any selected database parameter. A customer specifies polygonal interest area to build the grid inside or outside it. The faults can be taken into account as well. Some innovative interpolation techniques are used to ensure proper function values at node positions. Contours are generated by sophisticated methods to obtain acceptable result. fig.14.1 fig.16.1 Fig. 14.1 shows the map of effective oil-saturated thicknesses created by CTC-EXPERT gridding module. A customer can set an arbitrary path to build grid profiles along it. On Fig. 16.1 profiles graphically represent pressure distribution across gasfield at different periods of its exploitation.

fig.15.1 fig.15.2 CTC-EXPERT system provides 3D presentation of grids. It allows a number of different grid pieces to be drawn on the screen (fig. 15.1) in various projections. Another variant is a number of different projections of selected piece (fig. 15.2).
